I was very intrigued by your information about B12 and I was hoping you could send me a link (or several) so that I can become more informed on the topic. Please and Thank-You!

I'm glad you responded. Why the attack on vegans, time and time again?
A girlfriend of mine who was sick(throwing up)the whole time she was pregnant, hardly gained any weight and her baby was fine. I'm sure she didn't get all of her nutrients. I need to stop because I feel the boil in me coming on. ughhhhh.
A friend of ours a couple of years ago, a "meat and potatoes" man who hardly eats anything else, asked if I took supplements. My husband just stared at me waiting for my response. Can you believe that? He's the one who should be taking supplements. He eats no fruit, except strawberries no vegetables, oh I take that back, corn and potatoes and his salad consists of lettuce, cheese & croutons loaded with thousand island dressing!!! okay i'm done.

Thanks for writing this. I have been fuming about this since I first read it online--there are a number of sites reporting this story and it is so frustrating. I appreciate your response so much.

Well put! You did a great job outlining exactly what was wrong with the article.

One of our friends is a vegan mom and her comment may get published. I know a bunch of vegan moms and they all have completely healthy children.

my blood boiled as well when i read it (and left a message about "tripe" on their comments, ha). in reading the rest of the comments though, it made feel good that all of them stated the errors in the article. so that at least is good. i just hope their average reader see's past their "editorial/opinion".

and for the record all vegans i know are FAR more knowledgeable about diet/nutrition than carnivores, and get their levels tested regularly.
